What is recorded here

Sections of cut-limestone kerbing, c.1840. Repaired, c.1990, with concrete.
These sections of limestone kerbing are of interest as an increasingly-rare surviving traditional method of paving. The kerbing creates a subtle, yet important, feature in the streetscape of Saint John’s Avenue.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
