What is recorded here

Mud, milk, marrow and breath filled the gatehouse and barn before kings wrote anything down. A woman may have stood at the doorway with flour on her arms, listening for the first cough of a foal or the last breath of a man. The stones remained long after her name disappeared, holding the shape of that much older life.
The National Monuments Record of Wales records Castleton Farm Gatehouse;Barn as Gatehouse; Barn from the Medieval period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
