Stoneybatter Watch House
Watch House depicted standing at the the north-west end of Stoney Batter at the junction between Black Horse Lane and Cabra Lane. Annotated ‘Watch House The Pound’ on Rocque's 1756 map of the Dublin City, where it is shown as a rectangular structure with its long axis aligned on a north-south axis with rectangular shaped walled pound attached to the western side of the watch house (Rocque 1756). The pound appears to been entered through a gap on the northern side as shown on the 1756 map.
