What is recorded here

One chamber broke the edge of memory and showed a cross-base hidden in a Carran garden before it entered Clare Museum. The unknown place may have been a road, a courtyard or a forgotten chapel, but the stone still carries the shape of the hand that raised it.
This record is for the original location of a medieval cross-base found in a garden at Carran and on display in Clare Museum, Ennis (CL033-178----). The original location is unknown. Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 27 August 2014
