Structure

Seven pieces of light brushwood and a light roundwood on the field surface (L 0.9m; Wth 0.76m; D 0.06m). The wood is irregularly laid and in poor condition. Two pieces of brushwood have been cut to chisel points. The wood is mostly of alder with some hazel and birch. The site sits in poorly humified Sphagnum peat. This site is located 3.5m S of SMR OF007-083----. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
