Fairy fort in Tullyneasky West: a 30-metre earthen ring on a west-facing Cork slope, with a broken entrance and trees inside. People may have lived there, fenced stock, or avoided it because the fairies already claimed the ground.

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (diam c. 30m) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.5m); external fosse (D 0.5m) to E and NW; possible counterscarp bank outside fosse to NW. Break in bank to SW (Wth 5m). Deciduous trees cover interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
