What is recorded here
Situated immediately inside the outer wall of Cahercommaun (CL010-064003-) at SW. Described by Hencken (1938, 11) as a subrectangular hut (int. dims. L 2.6m, W 1.7m) defined by walls of fairly regularly laid masonry (H 0.3-0.5m). The walls are not bonded into the wall of the cashel. Two other hut sites (CL010-064096- and CL010-064097-) are attached to the inside of the outer wall at S and SSE. (Westropp 1896, 156; Hencken 1938, 1-81)
