Graveslab in Tralee: a 17th century stone, presumably from the medieval Dominican friary, now lies in the garden of the modern Dominican church. It may have marked a burial beneath cloister floors before the friary fell and the town changed hands. Whatever name disappeared from its surface, the chamber still keeps its part: a life measured, ended, and left behind for stones to remember.
