Sections of part creeper- or ivy-covered coursed rubble "Old Red Sandstone" boundary wall, built 1843-6, with lichen-spotted rounded coping. Street fronted.
A boundary wall making a pleasing visual statement at the perimeter of the grounds of the Wexford County Gaol complex: meanwhile, a much weathered benchmark remains of additional interest for the connections with cartography and the preparation of maps by the Ordnance Survey (established 1824).
