What is recorded here
Cast-iron gates and gate piers, c.1850, with cast-iron railings set on limestone plinths, and cast-iron arch over main entrance.
These railings and gates make a significant addition to the streetscape, due to the well executed artistic designs employed in their execution. Decorative motifs such as anthemion and stylised fleur-de-lis enliven their functional form.
