A well-composed gate lodge retaining most of its original form and massing, and the Tudor-style detailing of which enhances the architectural value of the site. The gate lodge, together with the attendant gateway (22902930/WD-29-30), forms an integral component of the Tourin (House) estate, and contributes to the historic character of the locality.
