Inscribed slab in Toureen is an inscribed slab in Toureen, County Tipperary, Ireland. It is a small fragment, about 0.13 metres high and 0.12 metres wide, with a fragmentary text incised on the visible face. The slab came from the Toureen Peacaun monastery area, was uncovered during the 1944 excavation, and is now missing and unlocated.

Formerly situated at Toureen Peacaun monastery (TS075-023----) and currently unlocated. The stone was uncovered during the 1944 excavation (Duignan 1944, 227; Macalister 1949, 213).The slab is missing. It is described by Okasha and Forsyth (2001, 312-13), based on Waddell and Holland’s description (1990, 171, fig. 5.19), as a small slab (H c. 0.13m; Wth c. 0.12m) which was 'a fragment of a slab of unknown form. A fragmentary text was incised on the visible face'. It is listed as Toureen Peacaun 52 (Okasha and Forsyth 2001, 312-13). Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 25 March 2014
