On or partially off the summit of an NE-SW running ridge, in upland terrain under pasture. Surface of ridge is quite uneven and ridge slope falls away quite steeply to S. Identified as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on an aerial photograph (Air Corps V.311/2968-9). Field boundary to N of enclosure has been removed. No tradition of an enclosure in this field. The enclosure is not visible at ground level.
