Tooreenclassagh holds one leftover stone from a triangle of three, the other two torn out in the 1940s. The surviving boulder stands incorporated in a field boundary fence, about seven feet high, its rounded body aligned northeast to southwest. Local story claims fingermarks of a giant who threw it into place, but the missing stones suggest ordinary people changed the site as often as they admired it. What remains is a corner marker, a fence post and a forgotten alignment all at once.

Bowman (1934, 653) recorded standing stone 'incorporated in field boundary fence...c. 7ft high'. Stone (H 1.2m; 1.67m x 0.87) is large rounded boulder, long axis NE-SW. According to local information, originally there were three stones forming a triangle, two of which were removed in 1940s; fingermarks of giant who threw the stone on top.
