What is recorded here

Stone circle in Tonaleeaun disappeared before human memory, leaving only a map mark in County Mayo. Heyward drew it in 1943, yet no stone still shows on the ground. The circle may have sunk under turf, been broken for wall stone, or never existed at all. A forgotten hand could have moved every marker before the survey wheel reached the field.
