Breakage exposed the tomb chamber, revealing a small limestone panel marked with the symbols of the Passion. That much is known. What is lost is the person beneath it, the hands that carved the marks and the moment the stone first covered their remains.

A portion of a chest tomb, now located in South Tipperary County Museum (see TS083-019084-), is said to have been originally located in this church (KK039-001001-). It consists of a limestone panely (H 0.41m; Wth 0.35m; D 0.05m), the upper sinister and dexter portions are missing and it is broken off along its sinister side. Where the panel is intact there are the remains of a narrow, plain margin around the edge of the upper, lower and dexter side. The panel is decorated with the symbols of the Passion.
