What is recorded here

Lisaballaire is a ruined fairy fort on a south-facing Galway slope, its earthen ring reduced to a shallow scarp and faint ditch that barely resist the grass. The field bank has cut through both sides of the circle, dividing what may have been an unbroken human or mythical boundary. A chambered grave abuts the southwest edge, suggesting death and transformation belonged inside the ring as much as life did.

On S-facing slope of a rise in grassland. Very poorly preserved subcircular rath (NW-SE c. 45m, NE-SW c. 40m) defined by a degraded scarp and external fosse. The scarp survives from NE through S to WSW, and the fosse from E through S to SW. A field bank cuts the monument at ESE and WSW. Abutting the scarp at SW is a CBG (GA017-152001-).
