Tipper North holds a young woman buried under ordinary Kildare soil. She was twenty or younger when the earth closed over her, and no one knows why. The water tank cut through her quiet life in 1959, exposing arms crossed across her chest and a death still without explanation.

In 1959, human remains were discovered during the construction of a water tank. According to a local report, a body lay in an extended position, orientated E-W, with the arms crossed over the chest, and was found at a depth of c. 0.9m below ground level. According to a subsequent coroner's report, the remains were those of a female aged under 21, but the cause of death could not be established.
