What is recorded here

Grave Yard occupies Church Hill in County Offaly, where a rough limestone church still stands beside stones that protrude without names or markings. It appeared on the first Ordnance Survey six-inch map, yet vanished from later ones, suggesting that memory itself retreated before the surveyors did. The hill may have been chosen for visibility, prayer or practicality, but no trench has opened that certainty. What is known is that the place resisted description, and forgetting followed naturally.

No surface remains visible of any graveyard located to the rear of Tinnacross House, Graveyard depicted on first edition of the OS six inch map with church site (OF030-021----) in centre of graveyard.
