Enclosure in Timogue

Marked on the 1841 and 1909 editions of the OS 6-inch map; part of a subcircular enclosure (max. diam. c. 55m N-S) cut by a field wall at N and SSE. No visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P. David Sweetman, Olive Alcock and Bernie Moran.
