Carrigan recorded a smooth stone bearing Owen Fenel and Ellen Tobin with 1640, set over the door of a little house near March Street. The house has vanished beneath the churchyard wall, and the stone has followed it into forgetfulness. Two names and one year remain, suspended beside a buried doorway, waiting for someone to remember what they loved there.

Described by Farrelly et al. (1993, 198), citing Carrigan, as 'a plaque "over the door of a little house which stood on where the Churchyard wall is now, near March Street, were these words cut on a smooth stone, in relief: "Owen Fenel, Ellen Tobin. 1640" ... visible c. 1806.
