Standing stone in Termons

A standing stone ‘five foot tall’, and with packing stones at its base, was removed in 1990 when the field in which it stood was cleared and ploughed (local information). It was not marked on the OS maps. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J. Sheehan (compilers), 'The Iveragh peninsula: an archaeological survey of South Kerry'.
