Enclosure in Termon stands on a Clare hilltop, its collapsed stone wall barely rising above the grass yet still drawing a clear circle across the Burren. It may have belonged to the same ancient time as the nearby mound walls and cairns, while the hidden passage and cave not far away suggest people still valued what the karst concealed. The view reaches everywhere except toward higher ground, as if the enclosure watched the wider landscape but accepted that some places must remain above it.
On top of a hill, in rough pasture on a karst landscape with commanding views across the Burren in all directions except to NE-ESE, where it is overlooked by higher ground. This monument is hachured on the 1842 edition of the OS 6-inch map. It consists of a circular area (10m N-S; 11m E-W) defined by the low remains of a collapsed drystone wall (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.3m; T 2.15m) which are sod covered and poorly preserved. The similar low-profile remains of a field boundary extend from the exterior at W. The interior is generally level and the surface is uneven due to limestone pavement close to the surface. Keegan (2016, 97-8) noted that the enclosure is likely to be contemporary with the adjacent mound walls and that there are several cairns in the vicinity. A cave (CL006-142----) and a Man-made underground passage (CL006-142001-) are located c. 160m to WSW.
