What is recorded here

Gallán is a standing stone in County Cork pasture, an NNE-facing slope where no surface trace remains. The land may have swallowed the stone or the stone may have dissolved into legend, but the tilt of the ground still points toward the light. Whoever set it there understood that visibility is not the same as truth.
