What is recorded here

Lisbaun is a subcircular fairy fort in Galway grassland, thirty metres across and broken along the eastern edge as if the earth forgot how to hold its shape. A small round mount sits at the centre like a button on a coat, waiting for a hand that never returns. The gap at the southwest may be an entrance or may be a wound, and the missing banks suggest the fort is still leaking into dream rather than resisting time.

In grassland. Subcircular rath (E-W 32m, N-S 30m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. No visible surface trace of the enclosing elements survives from NNE through E to SSE. A gap at SW (Wth 4m) could be original. Centrally placed within the interior is a circular earthen mount (D 2.6m). A ringfort (GA099-190----) lies c. 100m to SE.
