What is recorded here

The fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Tanrego East OR Carrowmore is in County Sligo, Ireland. It is a raised circular area, 25.9m east-west and 24m north-south, enclosed by a low bank 2.2 to 4.5m wide and 0.3m high inside, with stone kerbs on both sides of the bank. Two 2m gaps break the bank at the east and northwest, and small stones protrude across the east gap. Coniferous trees now grow on the monument, and traces inside suggest a possible man-made underground passage.
