Milling has cut the roundwood and brushwood, reducing a possible human arrangement to irregular fragments buried in Sphagnum and Eriophorum. The peat still holds the shape of what was placed there, even though the facts no longer confirm whether it was a boundary, a marker or a forgotten tool.

A roundwood and two pieces of heavy brushwood (L 0.38m; Wth 0.47m min.; D 0.03m min.) irregularly laid on the field surface. The elements are in poor condition with some milling damage and lie in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with frequent Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2002. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
