What is recorded here

Bog and time have bitten through the flesh of the ridge, yet the stone still stands half-submerged near Loch na gCeann. It may have risen two metres above the moss when first seen, tall enough to mark a boundary, a gathering place or a warning. The collapse does not erase its shape; it reveals how much of the world has been lost to water and forgetting.

On the crest of a glacial ridge to SE of Loch na gCeann. Tall, irregularly shaped stone in cutaway bog; now partially collapsed. Would originally have been c. 1.8m in height.
