Stranafeley holds a rath, an ancient earthwork whose boundary still marks the landscape in County Fermanagh. Whether it was a home, a fortress or a boundary marker, the shape suggests people lived there, defended it or gathered beside it. The name has survived even when the details faded, leaving a circle of soil where human ambition once stood.
