Straid Stone Ringfort holds a shallow stone circle in good Donegal land, its wall still standing one metre high before collapsing into grass. The eastern gap may have been the entrance, while a sharp modern angle intrudes beside it. Fairy fort or human home, the stones still mark a boundary between worlds, waiting for someone bold enough to walk the missing part.

A subcircular area surrounded by a stone wall surviving up to 1m high in places and in others badly collapsed. A gap on the E side may indicate the entrance. A right-angled feature N of the entrance internally is possibly modern. Situated in good land. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
