Two broken stones still guard the sloping pasture above the Ferta river, one lying prostrate and the other reduced to a stump beside its fallen top. When intact the second would have risen five metres tall, a monumental presence now diminished by time and perhaps human interference. They stand adjacent to a ceallúnach, suggesting the pair marked a boundary, a burial or a place of worship long forgotten by the wider world.

Situated on sloping pastureland,which overlooks the estuary of the Ferta river to S, this poorly preserved site, not marked on the OS maps, is located adjacent to a ceallúnach at NW (KE079-022----). One stone lies prostrate, while the base of the second, surviving as a stump, stands 3m to NE. The latter measures 1.45m high and 1.1m .45m at base; NE-SW. Its upper portion lies 1.2m to SW and measures 3.55m long. When intact this stone would have stood an impressive 5m high. The second stone measures 4.7m long and 1.58m in maximum width (Ó Nualláin 1988,250). The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
