Standing stone in Baile An Gharráin

A standing stone situated on fairly level pastureland at the base of Knockmoylemore, overlooking to S the broad lowlying tract of land that surrounds Trabeg. It is 1.96m high, 1.53m wide and varies in thickness from .11m at the E side to a maximum of .66m towards the centre; ESE-WNW. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
