Culzean Castle, located in Ayrshire, Scotland, was built in the 18th century by the Kennedy family, specifically designed by architect Robert Adam for Alexander, 10th Earl of Cassilis. It is important as a fine example of Adam's neoclassical design and as a historic seat of the Kennedy clan, later becoming a National Trust for Scotland property.
