What is recorded here
Doonanpatrick Island is a small islet in County Sligo, little more than a handful of stones and seaweed caught between the mainland and the open Atlantic. It has no harbour, no house and no name in any song I know, yet it is the kind of place that appears on old charts and vanishes from memory. Perhaps it marked a trading route, perhaps it swallowed a boat, perhaps it simply existed to remind larger islands they were not the only ones watching the sea.
Doonanpatrick Island is recorded as a islet in County Sligo. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
