Stackallan’s medieval graveslats, including a coffin-shaped slab with a two-line expanding cross and marigolds flanking its head, now attach to the west wall of the Slane vestry. The stones are not hidden in a field or lost beneath soil; they stand where people pass, carrying a dead parish into a living church. The cross, border and diamond-shaped crux remain visible, suggesting that Stackallan did not disappear but changed its address.

Two medieval graveslabs and other features from the parish church of Stackallan (ME018-030----) are now attached to the W wall of the vestry of the Church of Ireland church at Slane (ME019-023005-). One (Wth 0.37-0.62m; L 1.61m) is coffin-shaped with a two-line expanding cross inside a two-line incised border.
