Indicated is a broken cashel in County Clare where later drystone walls strangle the original grass-covered edge. The southern perimeter has vanished entirely, leaving only a faint NE ridge and an underground passage beside the centre. Whatever life moved through that ring has been erased by time and reinvention, but the hidden passage still waits beneath the pasture.

On a gentle SW-facing slope in pasture, within an extensive field system (CL009-074001-). This very poorly preserved subcircular cashel (49m E-W; 45.6m N-S) is defined by a grass-covered stone wall and associated spill (Wth 5-7m; H 0.3-0.5m), most clearly visible at NE and is non-extant from S to SW. Most of the perimeter is overlain by later drystone walls. There is a Man-made underground passage (CL009-165002-) NNW of the centre.
