What is recorded here
Situated on a prominent rise in undulating grassland, with good views to the W. Ringfort (WM012-134---) 50m to W. A raised circular shaped area (approx. diam. 43m NE-SW) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a shallow external fosse. The bank is best preserved from N-E, and is fragmentary and reduced to a scarp elsewhere. The external fosse is visible from N-NE and from SE-S-W. Traces of cultivation ridges are visible running NNE-SSW across the interior, which rises appreciably towards the centre. Field fences intersect the perimeter of the monument at S and W, and a farm track skirts the edge of the site at E.
