What is recorded here

Excavated in 2006 in advance of the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford Road Scheme (Excavation licence no. E3000). A subrectangular pit (0.77m x 0.55m x 0.11m) cut into natural subsoil containing a single fill of dark friable clay with frequent charcoal and stone inclusions.
