Fairy fort in Scardaun, County Leitrim: a 38-metre earthen ring on a drumlin shoulder, still standing in pasture despite being written off. Its bank and faint outer ditch mark a small enclosed world, the kind of place where people may have kept animals, hidden tools, or simply drawn a line between their lives and the open field. The fairness in its name does not weaken that edge; it suggests the circle was never entirely human, but shared with something older that still occupies the ridge.

Situated in reclaimed pasture at the N shoulder of a N-S drumlin ridge. It was recorded in 1983 as a circular area (diam. 38m E-W; 36m N-S) defined by the remains of a bank with traces of an outer fosse (SMR file). Despite Moore (2003, 120, No. 935) this monument is still extant and appears to be a circular grass-covered enclosure defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Bing 2013).
