What is recorded here

No gods, no miracles, only a clean spring feeding a cottage across the lane. The well sits hidden beside a stream where two roads meet in Rush Village, its stone edge half forgotten under leaves. It gave water to one house, not a whole county, and that small usefulness is why it existed.

This is a very overgrown, enclosed well on the south side of a stream at the junction of Brook Lane and Farrans Lane in Rush Village. No local tradition of veneration. Some kerbing left but essentially a spring. Locally known as source of drinking water for cottage on opposite side of the lane.
