Tower is a roofless, overgrown belvedere beside Rockborough House in County Cork, built as a square five-metre chamber with a solid ground-floor core and a narrow stair rising through the north wall to a wide first-floor window. It was made for viewing, not living: a tall room set into the landscape where a person could climb past stone and look out across the land. The missing roof and creeping vegetation have turned that clarity into mystery, as if the tower still waits for someone to climb its stair and remember what the view was meant to reveal.

Roofless overgrown tower to NE of Rockborough House (CO070-110----). Square in plan(c. 5m square); core at ground floor level is solid with door in S wall which leads via a lintelled passage through E side to stairs in N wall which rises to 1st floor level. Door in N wall between ground and 1st floor opens into stairway. Remains of wide window opes in walls of 1st floor chamber.
