What is recorded here

A spread (Wth 0.6m; D 0.25m) of ash roundwoods with brushwood (diam. 0.025-0.035m) in a fairly compact NW-SE arrangement. A single ash chip (L 0.13m; diam. 0.11m) lies transversely on the upper surface of the structure. Toolmarks were recorded at one end of this piece, the opposing end having been broken in antiquity.
