What is recorded here

The site (Wth 3.5m; D 0.25m) is orientated NE-SW and consists of light brushwood, laid 2-3 pieces deep, in opposing drain faces. The pieces are widely spaced and set at right angles to each other. Two pieces were cut to chisel points. Two pieces were identified as ash and Pomoideae. The site is in moderately humified Sphagnum peat.
