Ring-ditch in Connahy

On the floor of the Nore river valley, a little above the flood plain, in tillage. There are good views across the valley. There are a number of other ring-ditches in the vicinity (KK010-053001-; KK010-053003-; KK010-054----; KK010-055001- to KK055-010----; KK010-142----; KK010-152----; KK010-162---- and KK010-187----). A circular ring-ditch (diam. c. 10-15m) showing as cropmark on aerial photograph (CUCAP, BGG052, 16 July 1971). It is not visible at ground level.
