Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Rathnarovanagh, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a subcircular knoll on the gentle NE-facing slope of a drumlin, measuring 31m E-W and 27m N-S. A low earthen bank, 4.2-4.9m wide and 0.5-1.5m high, defines the area with internal facing stones at NE. An outer fosse, 5.1-5.7m wide at the top and 0.3m deep, surrounds the bank, while a 2m entrance opens at ESE.
On a knoll on the gentle NE-facing slope of a drumlin. Subcircular grass and rush-covered area (dims 31m E-W; 27m N-S) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 4.2-4.9m; int. H 0.5-0.8m; ext. H 1-1.5m), with internal facing stones at NE, and an outer fosse (Wth of top 5.1-5.7m; Wth of base 2.6-3m; D 0.3m). There is an entrance (Wth 2m) is at ESE.
