Rathmeehan is an earthen ringfort in County Clare, Ireland, where a simple ridge of soil still marks the boundary between human life and fairy possibility. The clay may have held a family, a herdsman or a forgotten child, yet local tradition reserves the circle for unseen neighbours who answer arrogance with misdirection. People who walked past it unchanged claimed they saw nothing at all, while those who entered with pride forgot the road home until dawn. The fort does not demand worship, but it does demand humility, and it has never once forgiven impatience.
