Graveslab in Rathlogan, County Kilkenny, marks a buried church and graveyard where Moore recorded a fragment of a medieval tomb in the 1870s. The stone has vanished, leaving behind a clean absence rather than a broken edge. That disappearance does not diminish the place; it redirects attention from the object to the continuity of burial, memory and forgetting. Rathlogan keeps its dead without displaying them, which is often more honest than exhibition.

Associated with a church (KK008-082001-) and graveyard (KK008-082002-), Moore (1874-9, vol. 1, 37) mentions that, 'Some few are still buried there. There is a fragment of a medieval tomb'.
