What is recorded here

Hachured is a fairy fort in County Clare, an earthen ring where human history thins into legend. Its exact age and purpose have faded, leaving only the shape of a boundary drawn in soil. People may have lived inside that circle before forgetting how to name it, or the land may have simply kept a hole open for reasons it will not explain.
