Roughly rectangular-shaped area (dims. c. 35m N-S; 36m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank with traces of a shallow external fosse. Possible causewayed entrance gap (Wth 3.5m) at S. A narrow lane running E-W intersects the N side of the monument as shown on the OS 6-inch maps.
