Indicated is a large levelled ring in County Clare, Ireland, where a low wide bank still circles a burial ground on a gentle south-facing slope. Maps from 1842 and 1916 called it Kilranaghan Grave Yard, while Westropp recorded it as a large levelled ring in 1913. A bullaun stone lies nearby to the east, and a rath stands to the west, suggesting the enclosure belonged to a lived landscape rather than a forgotten mark.

In pasture on a gentle S-facing slope. Marked and labelled ‘Kilranaghan’ on the first edition (1842) of the OS 6-inch map, and hachured and labelled ‘Kilranaghan Grave Yard’ on the later, Cassini edition (1916) of the map. Westropp (1913, 236) described the site as a ‘large levelled ring’. A large subcircular enclosure (int. diams. 51m E-W; 44m N-S; ext. diams. 61.5m E-W; 55m N-S) is defined by a low wide bank (Wth 4.5-6.5m; H 0.2-0.3m). The interior contains a burial ground (CL017-104----).
